BAY AREA ART AND DINING

Welcome!

My project explores the intersection of food and dining in the Bay Area, from the restaurant concept, decor, menu design, presentation, artisan products, food photography, and food journalism. I also want to determine what makes the Bay Area a unique locale for chefs, artists, and eaters. Palette SF tells a story about fine dining as a medium for artistry, concepts, and culture. The goal of this project is to show that fine dining creates an opportunity for artists to collaborate with chefs, and to build a case for establishing a more mutually beneficial relationship between artistic expression and commercial success.
